Wade Baldwin IV – Vanderbilt

Measurements: 6’4″, 201.8 lbs.

Wade Baldwin IV has good size for a point guard. What is most impressive about Baldwin’s measurements are his 6-foot-11.25 wingspan and a standing reach of 8-foot-4.

He provides great length and athleticism at the point guard position and could rise on draft boards due to being one of the tallest and longest point guards in this year’s draft.

Baldwin, 20, projects in the middle of the pack, going 15th overall in DraftExpress‘ (DE) mock draft to the Denver Nuggets. There are several teams in need of a point guard in the late lottery and through the late teens. But Baldwin could soar up draft boards, instead of falling down.

Baldwin is physically gifted and showed a good shooting touch at Vanderbilt. His length and athleticism allows him to be a skilled passer and a plus-defender. He has the make-up of a starting point guard, but could blossom into something special.

At his age, Baldwin still has time to develop physically and has plenty of years ahead of him to grow as a player. He has to be committed to his game and improving as a player to fulfill his bright future.
