Here is what needs to happen in order for the Miami Heat to extend its postseason run.
In Game 5 of its second round playoff series, the Miami Heat battled back from a 20-point first half deficit to pull within a single point in the fourth quarter. Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough as the Toronto Raptors pulled away for a 99-91 victory, pushing the Heat to the brink of elimination.
Dwyane Wade scored 20 points on 6-of-14 shooting and he had a few key baskets in the final frame. However, with little support from his supporting cast, the Heat were unable to come away with the victory.
As a result, Miami is now one loss away from being eliminated from the playoffs. Although it won’t be easy by any stretch of the imagination, the Heat can extend its season. That being said, here is a look at a few keys that will help the team to extend the series.
