Memphis Grizzlies – Mike Conley

The Memphis Grizzlies had quite possibly the worst injury luck of any team outside of the New Orleans Pelicans, and they backtracked into the playoffs without the majority of their core pieces healthy, mainly Mike Conley and Marc Gasol.

There should be no reason to break up that group right now, and seeing as Conley is a free agent, he should be their biggest target. Conley has been underrated for many years, but he has found a home in Memphis and has put up borderline All-Star numbers for many years.

With Gasol locked up for an additional four seasons, a five-year max contract makes a ton of sense for Conley. He will be able to play out the rest of his prime years next to a player he’s played with his entire career. While the Grizzlies need to inject talent into the roster, Gasol and Conley remain high quality pieces.

Zach Randolph may be nearing the end of his tenure in Memphis, but if anyone in Tennessee has their say, Conley will remain a Grizzlies player for life.
