Examining The Frank Vogel Question
Rumors are swirling that Indiana Pacers head coach Frank Vogel could be let go. What’s the right move for the Pacers?
The Indiana Pacers‘ season was over for about 20 minutes before head coach Frank Vogel’s seat suddenly got hotter.
Out of nowhere, Vogel’s job was no longer safe as many had thought. Vogel had just guided a team of Paul George and misfits to an unlikely playoff appearance and pushed the two-seeded Toronto Raptors to a Game 7 that featured some questionable calls that went against the Pacers.
The #WojBomb that Vogel’s job was in jeopardy was a shock to most in the basketball world.
For one reason, most people were under the assumption that Vogel was under contract for at least another year. Vogel signed a multi-year extension just before the 2014-15 season that most assumed would take him through at least next season since terms of his last extension were not released.
