73. Experience: Rookie, Wingate. PG. 2002-03 Denver Nuggets. Junior Harrington. 8. player

Junior Harrington had been a solid small college player at Division II Wingate University in North Carolina and intrigued NBA scouts with his 6-foot-4 height.

The rebuilding Denver Nuggets signed Harrington in July 2002 after he went undrafted and he wound up being the only player on the ballclub to appear in all 82 games of a dreary 17-win season, making 51 starts.

But Harrington couldn’t shoot, at all, and his playmaking skills were only slightly better. He was waived in training camp before the start of the 2003-04 season.

Harrington spent a season playing in both the Continental Basketball Association and in Ukraine before earning a spot with the New Orleans Hornets in 2004-05. Waived in January, Harrington resurfaced in Italy the following year.

He got one final shot with the Memphis Grizzlies in February 2007, finishing out the season after joining them on a 10-day contract.

Harrington went back overseas, playing in Russia, Slovenia and Poland before retiring in 2013.
