NBA: 25 Worst Individual Seasons Of The 3-Point Era
By Phil Watson
Michael Jordan was running the Charlotte Bobcats’ front office and fell in love with Gonzaga All-American Adam Morrison, selecting him third overall in the 2006 NBA Draft.
Morrison played primarily at the power forward spot as a rookie, playing in 78 games and starting 23 and while he earned All-Rookie honors, it was more because of volume than efficiency.
The Bobcats did improve from 26 wins to 33 but that season turned out to be Morrison’s most significant NBA contributions.

Morrison injured a knee and missed the entire 2007-08 season and in February 2009 was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers, earning rings in 2009 and 2010.
He signed with the Washington Wizards in the fall of 2010 and was waived in training camp, playing part of the season in Serbia. After being waived the following October by the Portland Trail Blazers, Morrison played in Turkey before retiring in 2012.
