Atlanta Hawks: Coca Cola

The Atlanta Hawks are the antithesis of what the NBA would like them to be. Gone are the days of the high-flying Hawks teams that made nightly appearances on news reels and television programs, and present is a squad that relies on team defense and ball movement.

One could easily make the case for a company that’s all about synergy or protection, but it’d be silly for Atlanta not to use Coca Cola as its corporate logo.

Coca Cola is one of the biggest companies in the world, which makes it an automatic candidate to find its way onto a jersey. Coca Cola is also based in Atlanta, Georgia, which is quite the reason to appear on the local team’s uniform.

If nothing else, this promotional opportunity would help the Hawks drive ticket sales.

Other options exist for Atlanta, and they vary from fitting the team to NSFW. Coca Cola is a global giant of a company, however, and for a team that ranked No. 23 in percentage of seats filled per game in 2015-16, this partnership would be mutually beneficial.

Now on to the fun ones.
