Milwaukee Bucks: Miller Brewing Company

Chances are, the NBA will refrain from allowing teams to publicly promote an alcoholic beverage. Milwaukee plays home to a number of major breweries, however, and that cannot be overlooked when evaluating the options for corporate sponsorship.

It’s also worth noting that, according to MillerCoors.com, the company already sponsors the NBA.

Miller Brewing Company is responsible for a substantial number of particularly popular beers. Miller Lite, Miller High Life, Miller Genuine Draft, and Miller 64 are all found in establishments across the country, and Milwaukee’s Best has saved many a college party.

Based out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, it’s not hard to make the connection between the Bucks and the brewing company.

BMO Harris Bank, which has its name at the front of the BMO Harris Bradley Center, is an obvious option. The ties of Miller Brewing Company to the Milwaukee area, however, could make this selection one with positive ramifications on the local job market.

Any time a team has a chance to promote a local business, no matter how big or small, the possibility should be explored.
