2015 NBA Draft: Re-Drafting The Top 10
8. Detroit Pistons: Stanley Johnson
The Pistons grabbed the right guy last year. I wouldn’t change a thing regarding Stanley Johnson in Detroit.
He’s a strong wing who wants to play defense and make plays offensively. There just aren’t enough NBA players with his size and determination to succeed.
Johnson fits in great with Stan Van Gundy’s current system of spacing the floor with talented wings around the Andre Drummond–Reggie Jackson pick-and-roll.
He’s the Pistons’ future along with Drummond and Jackson, so they’ll end up just fine moving forward.
