Indiana Pacers: Paul George

You were expecting Solomon Hill? Though Paul George hasn’t been able to take over games quite like his 33-6-4-4-2 masterpiece in Game 1, he’s still leading the Indiana Pacers in points (28.7), rebounds (6.0), assists (4.3) AND steals (2.0) per game for the series.

There’s not really more that could be asked of PG-13 in his comeback season. Monta Ellis and George Hill have failed to step up their games, Ian Mahinmi has been a disaster, C.J. Miles has gone M.I.A. and Myles Turner is still just a rookie. George simply doesn’t have enough help.

But in the second half of Game 1, when PG-13 went NC-17 on his competition with 27 points on 10-of-13 shooting, it was a wonderful reminder that no matter what happens in the series, this team still has a superstar to build around moving forward.
