Key Strengths

Brandon Ingram is one of the most intriguing prospects in recent NBA Draft history. He’s a young player with loads of potential due to his raw skills and developable areas, which includes elite potential on both ends.

The foundation for Ingram’s appeal is his physical profile.

Ingram, an 18-year-old small forward who won’t turn 19 until September, stands at just under 6’10” with a 7’3″ wingspan. He has a near 9’2″ standing reach that’s a half-inch shorter than Kevin Durant’s—a fair comparison from a physical perspective.

Ingram’s physical tools helped him average 1.4 blocks and 1.1 steals during his freshman season with the Duke Blue Devils.

Aside from being tall and long, Ingram is one of the better 3-point shooters in this draft class. He shot 41.0 percent from beyond the arc, which came on a very healthy sample size of 80 3-point field goals made.

Throw in a nonstop motor and a desire to compete defensively, Ingram could be a force on both ends of the floor.
