1. Reggie And Dre Pace Offense

Jackson and Andre Drummond paced the offense in Game 2 after struggling to get going in Game 1. They need to continue to be the go-to-guys offensively to set up the players around them for open looks to replicate their hot shooting from Game 1 of the series.

They did a good job of this in Game 2, but Morris and Harris combined to shoot 5-for-21 (23.8 percent) from the field and scored a combined 24 points. Game 1, however, was a completely different scenario for Morris.

Morris scored 19 of his 20 points in the first half. His inability to score in the second half put more pressure on the offense with his lack of production. He was 0-for-5 from the field and 0-for-3 from three-point land.

The Pistons poor three-point percentage has to improve to the 40-percent range to give themselves a chance against the Cavs. It starts with Jackson driving to the rim and Drummond getting quality post touches to open up the floor for open shooters.

Spacing the floor with Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Morris, Harris and Johnson could give the Pistons another good three-point barrage to fight through to the end.

Detroit needs to make some adjustments, adjust in-game and battle in the second half to give themselves a chance to beat the Cavs on their home court. It’s going to start with the team leaders in Jackson and Drummond to fuel this team and lead them for all 48 minutes on-and-off the court.

The series is far from over, but the Pistons must win Game 3 at The Palace to get back in the series and give them a chance to overthrow their arch-rivals to the South.
