10. Indiana Pacers

If DeMarcus Cousins wants to win, teaming up with Paul George on the Indiana Pacers would be an excellent way to do so. George is one of the league’s elite perimeter players, combining brilliant on-ball defense with a penchant for massive performances in big games.

The hurdle for Indiana would be finding an attractive trade package to pique Sacramento’s interest.

Indiana would be much closer to No. 1 if it actually had a trade package worth considering. Myle Turner is certainly an intriguing enough talent to bring the Kings to the negotiation table, but the assets beyond him are scarce.

Monta Ellis is popular in Northern California, and George Hill may be the defensive-minded point guard Sacramento’s next head coach needs, but that just isn’t enough.

For Indiana to get this done, it would need to mortgage draft picks or execute some type of sign-and-trade. Not many free agents are champing at the bit to play in Sacramento, however, which creates an even bigger hurdle.

Cousins and George could do wonderful things together, but it’s hard to imagine this deal getting done.
