Looking for Revenge Against Dallas

On Feb. 26, the Nuggets led by six with 1:50 remaining in regulation in Dallas, 108-102. Not only did they lose that lead, but they lost the game in overtime, 122-116.

On Mar. 6 in Denver, the Nuggets avenged the crushing defeat. With seven seconds left in regulation and the Mavericks inbounding the ball, head coach Malone played the best defense of any Nugget this season helping force a turnover while motioning his guys to guard the inbounds.

That led to a Mudiay steal and a Faried slam for the tie.

D.J. Augustin was unconscious, knocking down shot after shot in the overtime period (eight of his 12 points) and the Nuggets were able to rebound from the letdown from two weeks prior and win, 116-114.
