19. Tony Parker

After the Statue of Liberty and fries, point guard Tony Parker may be France’s most enduring gift to the United States. Parker has been an integral part of the Spurs model for 21st century NBA success. San Antonio has won four NBA championships since 2003. With help from Tim Duncan, whose name you will be seeing later on this list, Manu Ginobili and under the guise of Gregg Popovich, San Antonio has reached the Western Conference Finals six times, losing only once.

With mundane yet spectacular consistency, Parker’s Spurs have reached the post-season in every year of his 15-year NBA career. He was taken by San Antonio in the 2001 draft. This season, the Spurs tied the 40-1 regular-season home record set by the 1985-86 Boston Celtics and appear poised for both a deep playoff run as the lone threat to Golden State in the West.
