16. Carmelo Anthony

Seems there’s always a rumor or two about Melo joining the Celtics. The latest one surfaced just prior to this season’s trade deadline. That would make a major turnaround in his tumultuous relationship with Boston and Celtics. Playing for the Knicks makes him a natural rival in Boston. A bizarre incident involving Kevin Garnett during the 2013 left Melo not so mellow, screaming at the Celtics as they walked off the court and following them to the team bus.

Garnett may or may not have said that Anthony’s wife “tastes like Honey Nut Cheerios.” In a book published in 2014, LaLa Anthony denied reports that Garnett said that line to her husband, adding “Melo and Kevin are cool today. And now it’s nothing but a faint memory.”
