Nos. 30-26

30. Tim Frazier — With the New Orleans Pelicans‘ point guards being Toney Douglas and Tim Frazier, it’s no secret this team is tanking. But Frazier has actually put up solid numbers since joining NOLA in mid-March, averaging 13.8 points, 6.3 assists and 4.2 rebounds per game in a span of 12 games.

29. Ian Clark — Like a few players on the fringe of the Golden State Warriors‘ rotation (James Michael McAdoo comes to mind), Clark is hard to judge. Has he learned enough playing on such an elite team that he’d be able to perform elsewhere in an expanded role? After all, 3.7 points in 9.0 minutes per game with 36.1 percent shooting from deep is a decent base to build on.

28. JaMychal Green — Maybe it’s because the Memphis Grizzlies are so shorthanded right now, but JaMychal Green has been performing pretty well in an expanded role. In 15 starts this season, he’s averaged 11.9 points and 7.2 rebounds in 28.3 minutes per game, finally getting the chance to show what he can do in Memphis’ previously log-jammed frontcourt.

27. Thomas Robinson — Aside from a monster 18-point, 17-rebound performance in early March, Thomas Robinson hadn’t shown the Brooklyn Nets much in his fourth NBA season…until reeling off five double-doubles in the last five games, averaging 15.2 points and 12.2 rebounds per game in that span.

26. John Henson — Has John Henson lived up to his four-year, $44 million offseason extension? Absolutely not. But he’s not a bad player either, averaging 6.8 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.9 blocks in 16.6 minutes per game for the Milwaukee Bucks this season. Maybe one day he’ll be the shot-blocking defensive anchor fans have hoped he’d become.
