12. Greg Monroe

Greg Monroe has some of the better raw numbers on this list, averaging 15.4 points and 8.9 rebounds per game while shooting 51.9 percent from the field. He’s one of the better low-post scorers in the league, he’s capable of operating from the elbow on offense and it wasn’t long ago that the Milwaukee Bucks enjoyed adding him as one of the franchise’s marquee free agents.

But we can’t ignore the other end of the floor, where Monroe joins Enes Kanter as one of the worst interior defenders in the entire NBA. I mean, can we really ignore that the Bucks were the NBA’s second ranked defense last season and have since plummeted to 21st in defensive rating?

Not all of that is on Monroe, but it’s telling that in 12 games coming off the bench, the Bucks went 6-6…as opposed to 26-40 otherwise. It’s taken less than one season for everyone to believe Milwaukee trading Monroe is the right course of action, and that fact has a definite impact on his ranking here.
