Ranking The Top NBA Players By Age: Age 25
13. Will Barton
Will Barton started the season looking like a legitimate Sixth Man of the Year candidate. He won’t win it, since the Denver Nuggets haven’t won enough games and Barton’s scoring has tailed off a bit, but the Nuggets have to be glad they found such a bench gem in a rebuilding season.
In his first full season in Denver, Barton has built upon the promise he showed last year after the Nuggets traded for him. He’s averaging a career-high 14.5 points, 5.9 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game in 2015-16, living up to the hype as Corey Brewer‘s successor with instant energy and scoring off the bench.
Will The Thrill began the season with much higher shooting percentages, but he’s still shooting a respectable 43.3 percent from the floor and 35.3 percent from three-point range. The Nuggets are building something good out there in the Mile High City, and Barton figures to be a big part of it.
