Ryan Arcidiacono is Shane McMahon
It seems like both of these guys have been around forever.
Shane McMahon defied the odds by being one of the most unathletic guys in pro wrestling but did whatever it took to put on a great show for the fans.
Now, he gets another shot to make history by taking on The Undertaker in a Hell in the Cell match.
Ryan Arcidiacono isn’t the most athletic player and he’s not going to be getting a lot of NBA draft considerations, but doing all the little things is what sets players apart in the Final Four, which is the exact type of player Arcidiacono is.
Take his game-clinching steal against Kansas (5:20 mark).
Doing what you have to do to get the job done, whether that be being a vocal leader/scorer/defensive stopper or simply stopping the show by putting your body on the line for the crowd’s pleasure, is a noble and admirable thing to do regardless of the setting.

Given what we’ve seen from Shane-O-Mac in the past and what Arcidiacono has been able to do throughout his career, this weekend is the be all, end all for both.
