7. Miami Heat

The Miami Heat and their star power present the most dangerous potential matchup for the Toronto Raptors.

What makes them a desirable matchup:

There’s no guarantee that Miami will have its best player in Chris Bosh and the Raptors managed to go 3-1 against the Heat this season, so they should have some confidence heading into a season series. Toronto also has very capable defenders that can help stifle the Heat’s 13th ranked offensive attack.

What makes them dangerous:

The Heat received a large boost this season with the addition of Joe Johnson. Johnson has experience killing the Raptors in the playoffs from his days with the Nets and this Heat team is full of experience in general.

Assuming Bosh is healthy, he, Dwyane Wade, Luol Deng, Goran Dragic, Johnson and Erik Spoelstra have tons of playoff experience and know what it takes to advance to the next round. They might be the best coached team in the East and are a very dangerous team that nobody wants to see in the playoffs if they are healthy.
