The Oklahoma City Thunder have had an up and down season in their first year under rookie head coach Billy Donovan.

Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook are both playing at MVP levels, but it hasn’t been enough to keep the team on par with other Western Conference powerhouses like the San Antonio Spurs or Golden State Warriors.

The Thunder have had to overcome issues off the court like losing assistant coach Monty Williams due to the death of his wife, the untimely death of part-owner Aubrey McClendon and the death of Dion Waiters’ brother, Demetrius Pinckney.

Despite all of the challenges this team has faced, they sit firmly in third place in the Western Conference and ready to make the playoff push. The OKC Thunder have been in championship-or-bust mode for four-plus seasons now, and we have prepared a roundtable to discuss the future for this team.
