Texas A&M Aggies: Are The Aggies The Basketball God’s Team?

Every once in a while, there’s a team in the NCAA tournament that just gets lucky. They get to the tournament and don’t play all that well, but somehow they pull out a miraculous win they probably had no business winning and go farther in the tournament because of it.

Texas A&M’s historic comeback against Northern Iowa propels them into the Sweet 16, something that looked like an impossibility a few weeks ago has become reality for the Aggies.

But can the Aggies keep the magic going? Lucky for Texas A&M, they don’t have to play their next game on one days rest after mounting an exhausting comeback as they get three days off. Most of that was likely spent traveling and watching film, so they should be ready to go this time.

Except Oklahoma is not Northern Iowa. Though they both play small, Oklahoma doesn’t like to mess around and don’t generally let teams mount comebacks, so the Aggies likely can’t let themselves get down like they did against the Panthers.

But now that the team has made a comeback and proven they can win after being down, do the Aggies have another one in them if they need one? Are they the team sent by the basketball gods to make every game magical for some unknown reasons other than SPORTZ!?
