11. DeMarcus Cousins, Sacramento Kings

The Sacramento Kings are in the midst of yet another season of disarray, but that hasn’t discouraged DeMarcus Cousins from dominating individually. Whether he’s scoring, rebounding, or playing the role of a facilitator, Cousins has been superb.

One simply can’t help but wonder when Cousins and the Kings will finally break through and reach the playoffs.

2015-16 is a massive turnaround from being the sixth consecutive season that Cousins has gone without tasting the postseason. He’ll turn 26 this August, and while that may just be the beginning of his prime, the expectations will grow to heights previously unseen by the Sacramento big man.

Not only must Cousins make the team he plays for a postseason contender, but he’ll now begin to hear the response of, “But he’s never won a ring.”

Cousins certainly has it in him to post massive numbers in the NBA, as this past week so perfectly displayed. He tallied 31 points and 10 rebounds against the Detroit Pistons, dropped 24 points and 20 boards on the New York Knicks, and had 19 points and 18 rebounds at the Chicago Bulls.

The #FreeBoogie movement grows stronger daily. Numbers like that shouldn’t lead to losses.
