19. Ray’s Record

The Celtics’ history is littered with team accomplishments and championships. Once in a while, an individual honor stole the show. That happened when Ray Allen broke Reggie Miller’s all-time NBA three-pointer record of 2,560 on Feb. 10, 2011 in Boston.

Allen hit No. 2,561 with 1:48 to go in the first quarter. He then hugged Miller, who was courtside calling the game for TNT. The three-point record was one of many highlights for Allen in Celtics green. He came to Boston in 2007 and helped Boston win a title a year later.

In Game 4 of those finals, Allen played all 48 minutes and scored 19 as Boston erased a 24-point deficit in the largest NBA Finals comeback ever.
