3. Kristaps Porzingis, New York Knicks

The Kristaps Porzingis hype was real to start the season. From jersey sales to fun t-shirts to rap anthems, Porzingis was living the life thanks to all the exposure from being in a major market like New York.

Unfortunately for him and the Knicks the season hasn’t exactly panned out into a playoff run and Rookie of the Year campaign for the young big man. But there’s no question he has all the talent of a star and could even make the All-Star team as soon as next season depending on offseason improvements.

He’s struggled over the last few weeks, but make no mistake Porzingis is as rare of a talent as you’ll find in the world today. He’s the next guy in Gotham.
