Nos. 30-26

30. Lamar Patterson — Patterson rarely gets minutes behind Jeff Teague, Kyle Korver and Dennis Schroder, but he’s not completely banished from the Atlanta Hawks‘ rotation. He’s averaged 2.4 points and 1.4 rebounds in 11.3 minutes per game, appearing in 35 contests despite shooting 35 percent from the floor and 24.5 percent from three-point range.

29. Tarik Black — After emerging as a serviceable rotation player with the Rockets and Los Angeles Lakers in his rookie season, Black hasn’t gotten much run in his second year in the league. Byron Scott has mostly relegated him to mop-up duty, with Black averaging 3.2 points and 4.0 rebounds in 11.6 minutes per game.

More from Hoops Habit

28. Solomon Hill — Solomon Hill isn’t anything special, but he does his part in limited but consistent minutes with the Indiana Pacers. He’s averaging 3.2 points and 2.4 rebounds in 12.7 minutes per game, suiting up in 44 games this year. He turns 25 tomorrow, so his time on this list will be short-lived.

27. Mike Muscala — Moose has a fun nickname, but other than that he’s still working on cementing himself within Mike Budenholzer’s rotation in his third NBA season. Muscala is averaging 3.5 points and 2.2 rebounds in only 10.3 minutes per game, though he has appeared in 50 games for the Atlanta Hawks this season.

26. Ray McCallum — Unfortunately for McCallum, he might fit the Jimmer Fredette profile: If you’re not good enough to make it in a San Antonio Spurs system that makes all its players better, you might not have what it takes to make it in this league. Still, he’s averaging 8.0 points, 2.3 assists and 2.0 rebounds per game in his first three contests with the Memphis Grizzlies.
