7. Jared Sullinger

Like Kelly Olynyk, Jared Sullinger is a Boston Celtics big who tries to spread the floor from three-point range. Unlike Olynyk, Sullinger is not the most efficient floor-spacer, shooting just 26.4 percent from three-point range on 1.4 attempts per game.

That being said, Sully brings other clear strengths to the table that Olynyk does not. Sullinger is a more physical player despite only being 6’9″, he’s been the team’s de facto starting power forward and he’s more of a presence on the glass. On the season, Sullinger is averaging 10.9 points, 8.8 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game while shooting 44.8 percent from the floor.

He sets excellent screens, makes hard-nosed hustle plays and fits in with the team’s cohesive blue-collar vibe. His strength helps makes up for his lack of height down low, he’s got active hands on defense, and since the All-Star Break, he’s averaging 13.8 points and 9.7 boards per game on 47.9 percent shooting. Sully may never be a star, but he knows and fills his role well enough.
