There’s very little question surrounding whether or not Yogi Ferrell has the talent to be a star in the NCAA Tournament. Widely regarded as one of the best point guards in the country, Ferrell has transformed individual greatness into leadership in 2015-16.

With the Indiana Hoosiers back in the 2016 NCAA Tournament, Ferrell now has a chance to prove that he deserves to be selected at the 2016 NBA Draft.

This is Ferrell’s final in-game chance to prove that he deserves to be selected in the first round. He has the college stardom to keep him safe as a late second-rounder, but he’s an undersized point guard who will turn 23 before the 2016 NBA Draft.

Ferrell may need to pull a Shabazz Napier out of his hat to salvage his draft stock, and that will be no easy task.

Not only is Indiana slotted as the unenvious No. 5 seed in its region, but its Round of 32 game could be against the Kentucky Wildcats. That’s both daunting and promising, as there would be no better way for Ferrell to improve his draft stock than to thrive against Jamal Murray and Tyler Ulis.

Anything less than a win in the Round of 64, as well as a stellar showing in the game(s) that follow, would be crushing to his draft stock.
