Robert Horry

Houston Rockets, Phoenix Suns, Los Angeles Lakers (1992-1999)

Robert Horry was known for defense and his career numbers reflect that. He averaged seven points and 4.8 rebounds per game over his career, only shooting 34 percent from behind the three-point line. He has good size for a small forward, but he wouldn’t be able to play much power forward in today’s NBA.

He was facing much different players when he played in the ’90s and he wouldn’t be able to guard many players in today’s NBA. With so many scorers in the NBA relying on the three-point line, Horry wouldn’t be able to stretch his defense out that far.

No offense and a lack of defensive awareness would keep Horry off of many NBA rosters and the ones that he would make, he wouldn’t play a big role at all.
