Ranking The Top NBA Players By Age: Age 23
19. Jeremy Lamb
In the first few months of the season, it seemed like Jeremy Lamb was a legitimate Sixth Man of the Year candidate, combining with Jeremy Lin to average around 20 points per game off the bench. But thanks to a toe injury in January and February’s arrival of Courtney Lee, Lamb’s minutes have steadily gone downhill.
On the season, Lamb is still averaging a career-high 9.5 points and 3.8 rebounds in 19.4 minutes per game. He’s shooting 45.8 percent from the floor, despite his less than stellar three-point percentage of 30.9 percent.
Troy Daniels is starting to steal Lamb’s minutes off the bench, with Lamb only averaging 12.9 minutes per game in the month of March. He’s still a capable player, but the Charlotte Hornets are rolling right now, so it might be awhile before we see Lamb get his chance again.
