Ranking The Top NBA Players By Age: Age 23
Nos. 44-39
44. Coty Clarke — No one would blame you if you didn’t know who Coty Clarke was. A 6’7″ power forward from Arkansas, Clarke was signed to a 10-day contract by the Boston Celtics nine days ago. He appeared in his first NBA game Tuesday night (three points in three minutes), so his future in the league could be limited to another 24 hours.
43. Cristiano Felicio — Felicio is a 6’10” power forward from Brazil who is averaging 1.0 points and 1.5 rebounds in 7.9 minutes per game for the Chicago Bulls as a rookie. He’s only appeared in 17 games so far, and with the Bulls’ frontcourt being as deep as it is, that doesn’t figure to change anytime soon.

42. Devyn Marble — A 6’6″ small forward for the Orlando Magic, Devyn Marble has rarely gotten run time in his second NBA season. He’s averaging 1.0 points and 1.2 rebounds in 6.1 minutes per game over 15 appearances, though the departure of Tobias Harris at the trade deadline has freed up more minutes for him recently.
41. Branden Dawson — As a rookie from Michigan State, Branden Dawson was bought away from the Pelicans by the Los Angeles Clippers. But in spite of the team’s definite need at small forward, Dawson has been unable to fill it, appearing in a grand total of three games this season and was arrested Sunday on suspicion of spousal abuse.
40. Briante Weber — How shorthanded are the Memphis Grizzlies right now? Well, they’re currently starting the undrafted Briante Weber — a guy they signed to a 10-day contract on Mar. 11 — at point guard. To be fair though, Weber has relatively held his own, averaging 5.0 points, 5.3 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 2.0 steals per game in his three appearances, including a 10-7-5 debut.
39. Walter Tavares — At 7’3″, no one can deny that Walter Tavares has the size to play in the NBA. He hasn’t cracked the Atlanta Hawks‘ rotation yet, but he’s averaged 2.3 points, 1.9 rebounds and 0.5 blocks in 6.6 minutes per game this season, shooting 57.9 percent from the floor in his 11 appearances. He turns 24 in less than a week, however, so his time here will be short-lived.
