7. Enes Kanter

As one of the most one-dimensional players in the league right now, Enes Kanter is locked in a dead-heat race with Greg Monroe for the title of worst interior defender in the NBA. But with Billy Donovan bringing him off the bench, the Oklahoma City Thunder have been able to avoid plummeting into bottom-five territory.

In a sixth man role, Kanter has thrived, averaging an impressive 12.2 points and 7.7 rebounds in a meager 20.5 minutes per game. He’s shooting 57.4 percent from the floor and has notched 17 double-doubles — the most among all bench players.

He may not win Sixth Man of the Year, but OKC has identified his true calling in this league: high energy in the paint and on the glass in limited minutes to maximize his talents on the offensive end and mitigate his shortcomings on defense.
