Ranking The Top NBA Players By Age: Age 23
11. Rodney Hood
I never understood why so many teams passed on Rodney Hood in the 2014 NBA Draft, and after an injury-shortened rookie season, the former Duke Blue Devil is making all the teams that skipped over him regret that decision.
Here in his second NBA season, Hood has emerged as a primary playmaker out of pick-and-roll sets for the Utah Jazz, as well as their chief three-point threat. He’s averaging 14.7 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game, shooting 42.4 percent from the floor and 36.6 percent from three-point range.
Those shooting numbers could stand to be a little more efficient, but Hood has quickly proven himself as one of the more promising and simultaneously underrated two-way players this game has to offer. Keep your eye on Rodney Hood; it may not be long before he’s an absolute stud.
