11. Willie Cauley-Stein

Willie Cauley-Stein is mostly a train wreck on the offensive end still, but that will come with time. For now, his positive impact on the defensive end and his chemistry with DeMarcus Cousins in the frontcourt is really all that matters for a Sacramento Kings fan base coming to terms with the inevitable reality of missing the playoffs for the 10th straight year.

WCS is only averaging 6.3 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.0 blocks per game, but he hasn’t been given enough minutes by George Karl, who has limited him to 19.5 minutes per game in his rookie season.

For all Cauley-Stein’s “ineptitude” on the offensive end, he’s at least been efficient on his limited number of shot attempts, converting 60.1 percent of his 4.4 field goal attempts per game. If he can continue to work on that end as he evolves into a Defensive Player of the Year candidate, he’ll have a very bright future in this league.
