Nos. 20-16

20. Nik Stauskas — Leave it to the Sacramento Kings to give up on another top-1o draft pick. The only problem is, Nik Stauskas hasn’t exactly made them regret that decision with the Philadelphia 76ers so far, averaging 7.6 points per game on underwhelming .380/.333/.744 shooting splits.

19. Justin Anderson — Justin Anderson has the makings of a solid two-way player in this league, but the Dallas Mavericks rookie has largely been unable to crack Rick Carlisle‘s rotation, averaging 2.9 points in 8.1 minutes per game in 39 appearances on the season. Once he finds a way to boost that three-point efficiency (28.6 percent), perhaps he’ll get more opportunities.

18. Montrezl Harrell — Montrezl Harrell doesn’t have a particularly high ceiling in this league, but with the right development he could become something close to a nightly double-double. Through the first 35 games of his NBA career, however, he’s averaging only 3.4 points and 1.7 rebounds in 9.8 minutes per game for the Houston Rockets — even if he’s also shooting 65.3 percent from the floor.

17. JaKarr Sampson — JaKarr Sampson will turn 23 on Mar. 20, but for the time being, suffice it to say that he’s been fairly productive since joining the Denver Nuggets midseason. He’s averaging 5.1 points in 14.7 minutes per game for his new team, shooting a career high 42.6 percent from the floor despite his ugly conversion rate from deep (17.6 percent).

16. Maurice Harkless — Maurice Harkless was a sneaky good pickup for the Portland Trail Blazers, and even if his game still has a lot of growing up to do, his 5.5 points and 3.2 boards in 17.3 minutes per game are a decent enough start, especially since he’s shooting 48.4 percent from the field. If he can improve that 29.4 three-point percentage, he’ll be in great shape moving forward.
