2. Bradley Beal

It’s a little odd and slightly demoralizing that Bradley Beal might be better as a sixth man than a starter, but no matter when he enters the game, there’s no doubt that he’s the second most valuable player on the roster behind John Wall.

His frequent bouts with a clean bill of health have really held him back early in his NBA career, but Beal is still averaging 17.8 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game in this injury-riddled season. He’s also shooting an efficient 45.4 percent from the floor and 38.3 percent from three-point range.

Those numbers a far cry from what we saw from Playoff Bradley Beal last year, when he averaged 23.4 points, 5.5 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 1.6 steals per game. But at only 22 years old, it’s far too early to say that he’s done growing as a player.

Now it’s really just an issue of staying healthy, helping the Washington Wizards get back to the playoffs in this train wreck of a season and, ideally, being re-signed to a contract extension over the summer that doesn’t break the bank.
