2. Giannis Antetokounmpo

Not so bold prediction: Giannis Antetokounmpo will be an NBA All-Star next season. At only 21 years old, the Greek Freak is blossoming, especially now that Jason Kidd has moved Greg Monroe to the bench to give more touches to him, Khris Middleton and Jabari Parker in the starting lineup.

The Milwaukee Bucks have been a massive disappointment this season, but Antetokounmpo’s rise on the offensive end and his versatility on the defensive end have been remarkable. His spin move is rapidly becoming one of the NBA’s most unstoppable moves, and the way he’s quickly picking up things like the Euro-step (R.I.P. Serge Ibaka) has been exceptional.

The Greek Freak is averaging 16.5 points, 7.6 rebounds, 3.6 rebounds, 1.3 blocks and 1.2 steals per game this season, and though he’s only shooting 21.6 percent from downtown, he’s still posted a solid 49.8 field goal percentage overall.

Since the All-Star Break, Antetokounmpo has kicked his game into another gear, averaging 19.4 points, 9.6 rebounds, 7.3 assists, 1.8 blocks and 1.8 steals per game on 47.5 percent shooting. If he can continue to develop his perimeter shot, he’s going to be an absolute monster within a year or two.
