8. Gary Harris

Don’t look now but Gary Harris is quietly becoming a tremendous two-way player for the Denver Nuggets. He’s already one of the most underrated defenders in the entire league at his position, and in his second NBA season, Harris has also made strides on the offensive end of the floor.

The 11.8 points per game on .469/.349/.804 shooting splits he’s averaging don’t really do it justice either, since Harris has been averaging 14.9 points per game on 49 percent shooting since the trade deadline, when the Nuggets shipped away Randy Foye.

Foye hadn’t been a threat to Harris’ minutes in quite some time, but the second-year swingman has now scored in double figures in nine consecutive games and is really starting to impress on both ends of the floor. If he can continue to lock down opposing guards on one end and knock down perimeter looks on the other, he’s going to have a bright future in Denver.
