2. Jabari Parker

Porzingis probably has a higher ceiling than Jabari Parker, but as of right now, we can’t deny Parker’s spot at No. 2 as an emerging talent and a fledgling 20 points per game scorer.

After missing most of his rookie season with an ACL tear, Parker is finding his footing in his season year, averaging 13.2 points and 5.1 rebounds per game on 49.5 percent shooting. Those aren’t eye-popping numbers, and he’s shooting a paltry 20 percent from three-point territory, but he’s really stepped up his game for the Milwaukee Bucks since the start of February.

In that span, Parker is averaging 18.1 points and 6.3 rebounds per game while shooting 50.6 percent from the floor and 33.3 percent from three-point range. This includes a career-high 36-point outing in a win over the Houston Rockets on Feb. 29.

Parker turns 21 years old on Mar. 15, so his time in this category is limited. But now that Greg Monroe has been moved to the bench, Parker and the rest of the Bucks’ youngsters are getting into a real rhythm for the first time.
