10. Paul George, Indiana Pacers

There was a tough battle between four great players for this 10th spot, but ultimately Paul George got the nod. George has carried the Indiana Pacers all year, and has been impressive for the entire season.

George has done a little bit of everything for the Pacers. His field goal percentage is a little low, but some of that comes from the high volume of threes that PG-13 takes–and he drains a lot of them.

George currently has a true shooting percentage of 55.8, which would be a career high for him. He’s currently ninth in the NBA in points per game, which is impressive given the efficiency of his shots.

It’s his defense that really stands out about PG, though. George’s 1.8 steals per game is enough for 10th in the NBA, and his versatility on that end has helped Indiana immensely.

There were more prolific scorers than Paul George that missed out on making this list because they don’t play the same stifling defense that he does. Being a legitimate two-way player was very important to deciding the order and players included here.
