7. Nikola Jokic, Denver Nuggets

When Nikola Jokic gets big minutes he’s generally in line for an efficient double-double, and that was the case for the most part last week in Denver’s two games against the Brooklyn Nets and Dallas Mavericks.

In those two contests Jokic had a combined 28 points and 24 rebounds on 10-of-25 shooting from the floor. He didn’t connect on any three-pointers during those games but he’s shown adequate range all season long and should develop into a consistent inside-outside presence for the Nuggets.

A lot of scouts and analysts are high on Jokic’s long-term future and I couldn’t agree more.
