He’s shooting 23.5 percent from the field in the season series and only scoring 17.0 points and averaging 4.0 assists per game in the season series, both down from his season averages of 21.7 points and 6.7 assists per game this season. If he continues his hot shooting, 55.0 and 60.0 percent from the field in his last two games, he could be on tap for a big night, but don’t plan on it. He’s projected to score 37.2 fantasy points.
DeMarcus Cousins ($10,100) is scoring 43.3 FPPG in two meetings with the Spurs this season. He is shooting 30.2 percent from the field and scoring 21.5 points per game in the season series. The Spurs have good frontcourt depth and will make an impact defensively. They are the top team in points allowed per game and opponent field goal percentage. Cousins will likely struggle offensively, which doesn’t bode well for his fantasy value. He’s projected to score 50.0 fantasy points, but your (DraftKings) money can be better spent elsewhere.
