Friday’s NBA slate features 10 games for DraftKings players to draft from. After Thursday night’s excitement, Friday has a drop-off from elite matchups, and HoopsHabit is here to help fuel the next winning lineup in DraftKings competition.

Friday’s slate of NBA action is underwhelming with the league’s top three scoring teams all off. That makes it even more difficult to find the best players to be the cornerstone of a DraftKings team. That’s not going to deter anyone from playing in DraftKings leagues, however.

The highest priced player in DraftKings competition is LeBron James, priced at $9,600. There are only 10 players priced at $8,000 or more. Conversely, there are 41 players priced between $6,000 and $7,900 in Friday’s contests. There will be plenty of good players to draft from, and there likely won’t be a need for many bargains.

Three of the 10 games Friday feature an over/under of 210-plus points, according to ESPN.com. Additionally, there should be some close games with four of the games featuring a point spread of five points or less. While the heavy-hitters are off on Friday, there are still competitive basketball games to be played.

A classic New York versus Boston rivalry takes place Friday as the Knicks visit the Celtics. The Celtics are the highest-scoring team in action for the NBA. The over/under is at 210 points with the Celtics favored by 9.5 points. Carmelo Anthony and Isaiah Thomas are the highest projected scorers in terms of fantasy on their respective teams.

Great guard play will be the focus of the Portland Trail Blazers and Toronto Raptors game. The over/under is 208 points and the Raptors are favored by five points. It should be a close game with Kyle Lowry and Damian Lillard being the high fantasy point scorers on their respective teams.

When the Washington Wizards and Cleveland Cavaliers meet, the two highest-scoring fantasy players may be featured in this battle. James and John Wall are not only the two priciest players in DraftKings leagues, but they are also projected to finish in the top three in scoring. The over/under and spread on this game is not posted on ESPN.

It should be a fun night of high-scoring DraftKings competition. Let’s get to the top picks for Friday night.
