17. E’Twaun Moore

E’Twaun Moore is a free agent this summer, so his progress probably doesn’t interest the Chicago Bulls very much. He’s not a young player with upside at age 27 and if he continues to play well, he’ll boost his free agency value to the point it might not be worth re-signing him.

However, we can’t ignore how well Moore has played for Chicago’s banged up backcourt. He’s stepped up in a big way with both Jimmy Butler and Derrick Rose missing time, bypassing Aaron Brooks in the rotation to average 12.7 points, 3.2 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game since the start of February.

His scoring ranks fourth among all players who have played in at least nine games, he’s shooting 47.6 percent from the floor and he’s made 50 percent of his three-pointers in that span. You can be guaranteed contenders in need of a little bit of depth for a title run in 2016-17 will be keeping an eye on Moore in free agency.
