Again, the Orlando Magic executed some boneheaded trades at the 2016 NBA Trade Deadline, but in their defense, those moves have opened up more looks for guys like Nikola Vucevic and Victor Oladipo, who are really starting to benefit from the absences of Tobias Harris and Channing Frye.

To be fair, Vucci Mane had been on a tear for awhile now, averaging a team-high 21.2 points, 9.4 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.0 blocks per game on 51.3 percent shooting dating back to the start of February. But the departure of Harris has also increased his role in the offense, with Vucevic averaging 22.3 points per game on 52.3 percent shooting since the deadline.

He’s still pretty limited defensively, and at 25 years old, Vucevic is the oldest member of Orlando’s young nucleus. But now he’s starting to play like it as the Magic try to sneak their way back into the playoff picture.
