Top Four PGs

  1. John Wall (Wizards) – $9,700 @ Timberwolves (25th)
  2. Chris Paul (Clippers) – $9,800 vs. Thunder (20th)
  3. Isaiah Thomas (Celtics) – $7,400 vs. Trail Blazers (4th)
  4. Emmanuel Mudiay (Nuggets) – $5,300 vs. Lakers (27th)

Rationale:

  • Wall has not faced Minnesota this season. Assists totals have been big for Wall and prove to be the biggest factor in his fantasy value. He should have plenty of opportunities to set teammates up against the Wolves, who are 27th in opponents field goal percentage. He’s projected to score 46.9 fantasy points.
  • Paul scored 59.8 fantasy points against the Thunder in their first meeting. He scored 32 points, 12 above his season average, which is where his added fantasy value came. Pace and shooting efficiency will be key to fueling Paul’s fantasy success. He’s projected to score 47.5 fantasy points.
  • Thomas hasn’t played against Portland this season, but the matchup is favorable. The Blazers are 16th in points allowed per game, 17th in opponents field goal percentage and 21st in opponents three-point percentage. Thomas takes a lot of shots, so scoring will be the biggest factor in fantasy value. He’s projected to score 39.1 fantasy points.
  • Mudiay scored 33.5 fantasy points against the Lakers in their first meeting. He was 3-for-13 in that game, which should be a number he improves upon. He also had 10 assists, which if four more than his season average. Assists and shooting efficiency will be key to Mudiay’s success. He’s projected to score 28.9 fantasy points.
