Wednesday’s NBA docket features 11 games with plenty of great matchups to have basketball fans glued to their television sets and laptops. Four games feature cross-conference battles, and seven will be ever-important intra-conference games. The strongest plays will likely come from the high-scoring games.

With a larger slate, DraftKings players should use the over/under, pace and points per possession as good measures for finding the best players and bargains.

The over/under lines for Wednesday have a wide range. It starts as low as 194 points and goes all the way to 220.5 points, according to ESPN.com. The Detroit Pistons and San Antonio Spurs will likely be locked into a tight, defensive battle. Likewise, the matchup between Utah Jazz and Toronto Raptors is the low over/under on the totem poll at the 194 point mark.

There may be a couple of players that are worth drafting from each game, but don’t bank on either team providing great fantasy players.

On the opposite end of the spectrum, the Portland Trail Blazers take on the Boston Celtics. The over/under has been set at 219 points. The Celtics are five-and-a-half point favorites over the Blazers. Both teams are in need of a win even though the Celtics are in third place in the East and Portland has a three-game cushion in seventh place out West.

None of the players in this game are in the elite tier, per se, but Isaiah Thomas is projected to have the 18th-most points.

The Washington Wizards are in a fight for one of the final playoff spots in the East, and they look to pick up a win against the Minnesota Timberwolves. The over/under is listed at 220.5 points with the Wizards entering as three-and-a-half point favorites. The Wizards are separated by one-and-a-half games with four other teams for  sixth through 10th in the East.

John Wall and Karl-Anthony Towns pose the biggest fantasy threats, both projected in the top nine in fantasy points.

In what’s most likely to be the highest-scoring game Wednesday, at least on paper, the Oklahoma City Thunder visit the Los Angeles Clippers. Like the Wizards-Wolves game, the Thunder and Clippers have an over/under of 220.5 points. Unlike the Wizards and Wolves, both the Thunder and Clippers rank in the top six in scoring this season.

The Clippers are favored by one point in a game that should make for a great watch. Three of the top six players in Swish Analytics‘ fantasy projects should be playing in this game, barring a late scratch or sudden injury/illness.

With plenty of players to choose from, it’s time to find out who are the top picks for Wednesday night’s DraftKings competition.
