2016 NBA Rookie Ladder: D’Angelo Russell Best Rookie PG?
6. Nikola Jokic, Denver Nuggets
Nikola Jokic has proven his worth on the floor for the Nuggets and then some. He’s 21st in the entire league in PER at 22.02 and continues to showcase his offensive versatility whether it’s shooting from the perimeter or passing from the high post.
Denver’s been using him in different offensive sets and moving him around to see how effective he is in certain areas which is smart for Jokic’s development. Big men like him don’t come around often and as he gets in better shape and gets more used to the NBA game he’ll emerge as one of the top big men in the league, not just in his draft class.
