Let Mack & Burke Get More Minutes

For the last three years, we’ve seen a bevy of starting point guards in Utah’s lineup, including Raul Neto, Dante Exum, Trey Burke and now Shelvin Mack.

The last two point guards mentioned Burke and Mack are the only two that Utah needs to move forward with for the rest of the season.

Out of the point guards Utah has on their roster, Burke and Mack are the most talented and the most gifted. They also need a lot less seasoning with their game.

Unlike Neto who’s a rookie and will develop into a decent starting point guard in time, Utah needs to win today and they need to win now. The only way they’ll have the best chance to win is if Burke and Mack get a majority of the minutes.

Since Mack’s made an arrival in Utah he’s been on a roll. He scored 16 in his debut against the Portland Trail Blazers and then followed it up with a 17-point performance against the Houston Rockets.
